Dillard Elementary School participated in the world’s largest shared reading experience, the 19th Annual Read for the Record 2024 event, organized by Jumpstart.
Over 30 guest readers celebrated literacy by reading the book “Piper Chen” by Phillipa Soo and Maris Pasquale Doran. This experience was enjoyed by students in Pre-K though 5th grade as every class had the pleasure of hosting a reader. Interactive reading, book discussions, and props prompted reading for fun!
