Program Information
Our Track Record:
In 2013, Ranger Good Works began its journey at Dillard Elementary with a simple but powerful mission to ensure that every child had the basic supplies needed to succeed in school. At the time, many students lacked essential tools like pencils, paper, and notebooks, making it difficult for them to fully participate in classroom learning. Ranger Good Works stepped in to fill that gap by providing fully stocked bookbags to students in need.
Many students at Dillard and North Fork Elementary came from, and continue to come from, low socioeconomic backgrounds. Their families often face difficult choices and are unable to afford the school supplies their children need to be successful. By providing these resources, Ranger Good Works helps level the playing field, giving every student the opportunity to learn with confidence and dignity.
Current Programs:
Each year, Ranger Good Works continues its commitment by purchasing and distributing backpacks filled with the school supplies that every child deserves. These book bags are packed with essentials, including #2 pencils, crayons, erasers, glue, wide-ruled loose-leaf paper, pencil cases, safety scissors, composition notebooks, rulers, washable markers, pocket folders, and individual pencil sharpeners.
When a child walks into class with the tools they need, it fosters hope, builds self-esteem, and lays the foundation for academic success.
