Through media coverage, Ranger Good Works has been able to reach even more organizations and individuals who share the same desire to inprove and empower their communities.


SFBW – Ranger Good Works Hosts Annual Career City and Scholarship Fund Event at Dillard Elementary



Ranger Good Works, a nonprofit based in Fort Lauderdale, recently held its 11th Annual Career City event showcase at Dillard Elementary School in Fort Lauderdale. Over 95 local companies and organizations, 70 of which have participated for ten years, along with 200 corporate volunteers, joined together to create an unforgettable experience. The event was aimed at over 900 Dillard Elementary students and 60 students from North Fork Elementary in grades Pre-K—5, guiding them through an interactive make-shift city presentation. 

The event by Ranger Good Works aims to introduce the students of Dillard Elementary to a wide range of careers and opportunities, inspiring them to dream big and reach for the stars. It is part of the nonprofit’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact and difference in the lives of the students and faculty of Dillard Elementary. 

This year’s program featured a special presentation by Ranger Good Works, who will be offering a scholarship fund to support 19-year-old J-Terra Louis. She is a former Ranger Good Works program participant and an alumna of Dillard Elementary. Louis graduated with honors from West Broward High School and is now pursuing a degree at Broward College. The kids of Dillard Elementary in Fort Lauderdale had a special day of learning and adventure on May 25th when Ranger Good Works, a charitable organization run by Victoria Ranger, invited local businesses to set up a mini-city of booths so the 400 kids could see the possibilities of careers when they grew up…

Career day opens world of possibilities to students



Students at Dillard Elementary School in Fort Lauderdale were introduced to dozens of occupations during its third annual Career City event. Professionals in fields ranging from airboat drivers to Zumba instructors met with youngsters. More than 70 businesses and educational vendors participated.
