Career City 2026

Developing Future Leaders Through Purposeful Career Exploration

I am incredibly grateful for the support I‘ve received from Ranger Good Works. When I was in 5th grade at Dillard Elementary, I had the opportunity to attend a college tour sponsored by the organization… It was truly an experience of a lifetime and opened my eyes to the possibilities ahead of me.

Program Information

Career City 2026 at Dillard Elementary marked the 13th Annual Career City, delivering an unforgettable, high-energy experience that brought learning to life for nearly 1,000 students across Dillard Elementary, North Fork Elementary, Larkdale Elementary, Boyd Anderson High School, and Dillard 6–12. With the support of over 200 dedicated volunteers and more than 100
businesses and community leaders presenting to students, the event created meaningful opportunities for real-world learning and engagement. While engaging in interactive, hands-on activities that sparked curiosity and inspired their future aspirations, students across all participating schools explored a wide range of career opportunities.

This year’s exciting Monopoly-themed event transformed the campus into an interactive “city,” where students navigated career pathways, earned “Ranger Bucks,” and connected real-world skills to future opportunities. A special highlight of the day was the dynamic presentation on the music industry, featuring talented musicians and singers representing a variety of genres, giving students an inside look at careers in music while celebrating creativity and artistic expression.

Career City 2026 was also honored by the presence of distinguished community leaders, including Dale Holness, Former Vice Mayor; Dr. Howard Hepburn, Superintendent of Broward County Public Schools; Allen Zeman, School Board Member; Rickelle Williams, City Manager; and William Schultz, Chief of Police. Their support and engagement reinforced the importance of strong community partnerships in preparing students for future success.

As we celebrate the incredible success of Career City 2026, we extend our deepest gratitude to every volunteer, business, and community leader who made this day possible. Your time, passion, and commitment created an experience our students will never forget. The excitement doesn’t stop here this is only the beginning! We look forward to building an even bigger, bolder, and more impactful Career City in the years to come. The future is bright, the possibilities are endless, and we can’t wait to continue this journey together!
