Art Program

In 2013, Dillard Elementary did not have an art program nor the funds to maintain one. Their art journey started when we facilitated a field trip for 70 students to see the world famous Guy Harvey Exhibit at Nova Southeastern University.

Dillard understands the importance of an Art Program and teaching a STEM-based education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and is now calling it STEAM. The A is for Art!

Program Information

Since introduction of the art program, Dillard has gained additional partners in education through Ranger Good Works such as the Young at Art Museum and Neiman Marcus. Together, we have influenced Dillard to include art in their after school programs.
Learning to create and appreciate visual aesthetics may be more important than ever for the development of our next generation of children. Art will help the students in the following areas: Motor Skills, Language Development, Decision Making, Visual Learning, Inventiveness and Cultural Awareness.

You can be a part of the art journey at Dillard Elementary! Volunteer to assist in an after-school initiative or donate money or supplies.
