Our 2016 College Tour Program was off the charts! Ranger Good Works partnered with Florida Atlantic University – College of Education to give our students from Dillard Elementary an experience they will never forget. Dillard Elementary Students Experienced College life for four days!
Fifth grade students spent four days and three nights at the Florida Atlantic University Boca Raton Campus. The students had an opportunity to learn what it is like to be a college student staying in the dormitories, attending classes on campus and eating in the dining hall. The professors and graduate students at FAU designed a special curriculum for our exceptional Dillard Elementary students.
The amazing Department of Curriculum, Culture and Educational Inquiry created a program just for our students: STEAM for Social Justice: using Inquiry Skills to Create Changes in Your World. The students were broken down into two groups and gave “Shark Tank Presentations” on June 3rd 2016.
Students Presenting for Shark Tank
Dr. Corey King, Vice President for Student Affairs gave a nice welcome to visitors there to witness the Pitches & Presentations from the students. The students presented their company and their product/service and fielded questions from the panel of sharks. Sharks included Tony Ash, James Engstrom, Ana Escuder, PHD, Whitney Rawls, and Chief Constance Stanley.
As a result of super team work headed by Dr. Traci P. Baxley, numerous FAU Faculty and students, 8 staff from Dillard Elementary headed by Mrs Angela Brown and funding from our Ranger Good Works donors, the event was an outstanding success!!!
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING RGW IN OUR MISSION TO PROVIDE THE BEST EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES POSSIBLE FOR THE DILLARD ELEMENTARY STUDENTS!

On behalf of Ranger Good Works, Dillard Elementary teachers, staff and students, we would like to give all Dillard Elementary volunteers a ‘heartfelt thank you’ for their support of Career City 2016.
Volunteers are worth their weight in gold. Each volunteer shared their time and talents with the children – and what an outstanding job everyone did! The students really responded to each of our volunteers, and that is due to the volunteers’ patience. The volunteers’ generosity and support exposed the children of Dillard Elementary to the wonderful professional possibilities awaiting them through hard work and studies.
Thank you! Ranger Good Works Volunteer Captain Mary Krystoff

Ranger Good Works presents: HOUR OF CODE 2015
We are preparing for Computer Science Education Week and plan to create a fan-tas-tech event for 2015!
A community partner initiative with Ranger Technical Resources, Citrix Systems, Nova SouthEastern University, Broward College, Merrill Lynch and others.
Once again, Ranger Technical Resources & Ranger Good Works are recruiting friends and community partners to help educate over 800 students from Dillard Elementary School about the importance of Computer Science in an international coding initiative founded by Code.org. We love it when our kids receive the three T’s….time, talent and treasure. Please join our Hour of Code volunteer team this year. The kids love to see familiar faces. If you can’t join us, tell a friend who you think can. Our communities continued help in making this a great event is much needed and appreciated.
The Hour of Code will take place at Dillard Elementary on Thursday, December 10, 2015.
Responsibilities include: Sit in two conference calls prior to the Hour of Code at Dillard Elementary.
Show up onsite one hour prior to the Hour of Code initiative

This experience will continue to fill the students treasure chest full of great life experiences. Three years ago we first partnered with Code.org for the Official Hour of Code, a Global Computer Science Education Week initiative to encourage youth to learn basic coding. Over 49 million students around the world participated. As a technology solutions company Ranger Technical Resources contributed by sending mentors to local schools and sponsored an Hour of Code at our corporate office for 40 students.
In 2014 we expanded. Eight hundred students from Dillard Elementary participated in a Computer Science related activity. As you can see the number of students we are encouraging has increased due to our community’s involvement.
In 2015 we will have close to 1000 students enrolled at Dillard Elementary School. We need all of the helping hands we can to keep up the great momentum. Please join our volunteer team for the Hour of Code on Thursday, December 10th. Click here to sign up. Thank you for your continued support!

Special Initiative November through January – holiday giving – Please donate today!
Ranger Good Works is collecting donations to help supply 1000 students with care packages for the holidays. Food, clothing, hygiene products, toys and books are needed.
We are painfully aware of the need that exists through the student population at Dillard Elementary. Join us in aiding those in need during the holiday months. Ranger Good Works will give gift baskets during Thanksgiving as well as food and gifts during the Christmas and Hanukah celebration times. We are not a food bank, but we certainly know where we can guide you in your giving. We’ve established a giving fund and a donation drop off for this time. The appropriate people at the school will assist in distribution.
Do you have someone on your giving list that has everything? The perfect gift can be a tribute in their name. Donate to honor a person of your choice and we will send a thank you Christmas/Holiday note on your behalf. It’s easy to do, but will be priceless for those who will be assisted with the funds. Give a tribute.

Literacy Night Dillard Elementary sponsored by Ranger Good Works
A majority of Dillard’s students are entering kindergarten lacking reading readiness skills. Very few parents read to their children and they rarely visit the library. Dillard Elementary is providing multiple strategies to close the literacy gap.
Build-a-Home Library is once again the theme for this year literacy’s initiative. This is a school wide/family/engagement initiative for all students from prekindergarten through fifth grade. This literacy initiative is specially designed to foster literacy independence in young children and to bridge the literacy deficit gap from school to home by giving each child their first book to begin a personalized home library.
What’s needed:
$2,500.00 or the following items:
Books New or Used
Educational Material
Halloween Costumes (total of 50 sizes from 3T, 4T, 5, 6)
Click donate to assist us in purchasing books and costumes for the children. Imagine – with your donation they will be lucky to have one or two books in their home.
Donations are needed before October 28th, 2015
