Ranger Good Works and Young At Art Museum have a 9-year partnership and together, are a driving force for arts-based learning in Dillard Elementary and North Fork Elementary Schools.

Each year, new, theme-based learning programs that align with the Broward County School System are created through this partnership.

The art program, its management, oversight, development, preparation, delivery, and documentation are developed through the Young At Art Museum leadership team. The program is approved and funded by Ranger Good Works, including materials, costs, and field trips. The art program also includes a Year-End Art Exhibition and Showcase for parents and teachers.

Student school attendance is higher than before the program existed. School children love to use this opportunity to stimulate their intellectual and emotional needs in a fun and interactive environment.

This partnership continues to be a great success as students focus on different artistic methods. In the 2022 school year, students were inspired by the works of the world-famous artist Romero Britto, and each had the opportunity to create art based on their interpretation of his works.

Teacher Appreciation 2022 - Ranger Good Works

Teacher Appreciation 2022

Teacher Appreciation Week at Dillard Elementary and North Fork Elementary Schools took place from May 2 – May 6, 2022.

Teachers at Dillard Elementary and North Fork Elementary Schools were shown they are very appreciated by our South Florida community. Our educators work tirelessly to restore the education deficit created by the pandemic.

Teachers’ jobs have been extra difficult this year, and we extend a huge THANK YOU to our teachers for sticking with it! We’re thankful to our administration teams for planning their teams’ exciting journeys through treats, small gifts and awards.

Read for the Record 2021 was a thrilling success, as we read Amy Wu and the Patchwork Dragon. It was Ranger Good Works’ first time back in the classroom to visit our students since the pandemic shutdown. Reading to children in school is always fulfilling. After we #readfortherecord, we created a colorful, 20-foot dragon with old scarves and danced around the classroom together. We then took our dragon for a walk out in the courtyard at Dillard Elementary for all to see. It was great fun! As a result of activities such as #readfortherecord, many students will find reading and literacy activities more enjoyable. Gifts of love last a lifetime, and the memories keep on giving.
