Dillard Students Visited Nova Southeastern University

We are excited about our partnership with Nova Southeastern University and support from our community sponsors! We took 40 Ranger Super Coders on a field trip to tour the Graduate School of Computer and Information Science Department. The visit, for many of the students, was their first step onto a college campus. Our Tech Super Hero, Dean Ackerman gave the students a tour of his amazing computer collection, gave a supercharged Tech Talk, and instructed the students on how to build a solar powered robot. Afterword, we stopped off at the University Pit to be charged up with a slice of pizza. Students also toured the Alvin Sherman Library to discover what resources are available to them before heading back to school.

Guy Harvey Exhibit at Nova Southeastern University – 2014

On Friday May 30, 2014, 70 of our Dillard students saw 50 pieces from the world famous Guy Harvey Exhibit at Nova Southeastern University. This activity was facilitated by a thoughtful Ranger Good Works Member who continuously keeps our children of Dillard in mind. Thank you Lois Marino! This field trip will be the start of an incredible Art Adventure yet to come.
